Brazilians hacked iPhone 3G

A brazilian company posted in their blog a video showing iPhone 3G working with a SIM card of a local operator.

25 year old Breno Massi, CEO of the company, first in the world succeeded in overtaking the iPhone protection.

Apple’s plans do not include iPhone 3G sellings in Brazil soon. Most likely this is the main reason for local specialist to hack it.

Apple consider releasing a ‘free’ iPhone in Brazil at a price not higher than $250.

One million iPhone 3G sold in 4 days

Apple Inc. announced one million iPhone 3G sold so far. The new device was officially put in sale on July 11th. That lead to increasing the corporation shares by 2%.

‘iPhone 3G had a great debut weekend. First iPhone needed 74 days to sell one million devices’ said Apple CEO Steve Jobs.

First generation of the smartphone was introduced in the end of June 2007 and it was only selling in USA. During first weekend 270,000 devices were sold and the sales reached a million in September. The new iPhone is in sale in 21 countries and they will increase to 70 by the end of the year.
